The College hosts and holds Meetings with national and international experts, thought leaders and trusted advisers in Health Informatics in the Asia-Pacific Region.

2015 ACHI eHealth Software & Patient Safety Forum

19 May 2015, 12noon to 6pm

Our free "eHealth Software & Patient Safety Forum" will allow us to further discuss and crystallise our thoughts on this important topic and plan the next steps to be taken.  We will also have a session where you can learn about, present and obtain input to Health Informatics and e-Health research work as well as communicate and share with other researchers in the field.  The focus is on the exchange of information as well as networking research opportunities.

The format of the eHealth Research Session consists of short 10-minute "Research Snippets" that outline:
completed research work
research work in progress
ideas for future projects to get feedback and find collaboration partners

1:00pm-1:30pm:   Welcome & Introduction to AIHI (J. Westbrook & E. Coiera)

1:30pm- 3:00pm:  Exploratory Session "eHealth Software & Patient Safety" (Facilitator: tba)

3:30pm-5:00pm:   Research Presentations

5:00pm-6:00pm:    ACHI AGM

ACHI Members-Only Tele-Meetings

The College holds regular Tele-Meetings for its Fellows and Members.  These Tele-Meetings provide a forum for ACHI Fellows and Members to share the latest developments in their areas of expertise, exchange information and maintain their collegiate networks.  Special briefings keep the ACHI members up-to-date with new eHealth policy developments and Health Informatics research.  The agenda for each Tele-Meeting is broadcast on the ACHI Members-Only e-mail list.
