The ACHI Fellowship by Training Program launched in November 2017 and the response by PhD candidates, academia, government and industry has been extremely positive.

Fourteen health informatics research PhD candidates have now been accepted into the program. These candidates, from across Australia and New Zealand, come from a diverse range of disciplines and research domains, reflecting the truly multidisciplinary nature of health informatics.

Applications will remain on an ongoing basis however, the program has now moved to a bi-annual intake of candidates (July and December).
